As the name Gravytris would suggest, this game is very similar to Tetris. It is actually 5 games in one (Normal Tetris, Color Tetris, Coloris, Puzzle Game and Custom Game).
Most of the game is cutomizable. The game can be played in a full screen window to a very tiny window size. The window title gives various performance aspects including fps (frames per second). There are options to change the Opengl settings as well as audio, gameplay and visual appearance. In all there are several dozen settings which you can change. You can even change the shapes of the blocks. The sounds effects are cool and the 45 minutes of non repeating music is very soothing.
The game can be controlled by both the keyboard and the mouse:
* Keyboard: Use the Arrow - Keys to rotate and move the tile left, right and down, space drops the tile. Left click and drag the mouse in the playwindow, to rotate the board. with the mousewheel you may zoom in and out.
* Mouse: first, klick with the mouse on the playtile. then: left klick drops the tile, right klick or mousewheel rotates the tile, mouse move left/right moves the tile.
There are three variation of Gravytris available for download ...
1.) Gravytris: light (no sound & no music) 273 KB D/L
2.) Gravytris: has sound (no music) 2.5 MB D/L
3.) Gravytris Music: (has sound & music) 13.8 MB D/L
When you have got a really great score, then upload it to internet.
If you are any kind of Tetris fan, then this game is a must have!
