Arena is a futuristic sport, in which the player flys around an arena, collecting rings and cubes, while avoiding obstacles too.
There are 3 game modes:
In the normal game mode, the object is to collect 6 rings and 5 cubes before the time runs out. It is important to avoid some objects, which can slow you down - Red Balls crash into your craft and increase your damage, the blue plains cause your craft to temporarily slow down, and the green spiked objects cause your craft to temporarily spin out, and also increase your damage by 20. If at any point in the game, your damage reaches above 40 or your time runs out, you lose the game.
2. Time Rush
In this mode, your time constantly decreases. Your time is increased by 7 seconds every time you collect a ring or cube, so you have to be very quick to collect the rings or cubes. If at any point in the game, your time reaches zero, or your damage above 40, you lose the game. Colliding with the red balls, blue plains or green spiked objects gives you the same penalties as in normal mode.
In this mode, you are competing against 4 other players. You must try to reach the checkpoints (A cone with a ring around it and an arrow pointing to it) six times in the shortest time you can. Collecting rings and cubes is not necessary, but if you choose to, our overall time is decreased by 2 seconds per ring/cube. If at any point in the game your damage reaches 40, you lose the game. Colliding with the red balls, blue plains or green spiked objects gives you the same penalties as in normal mode. When you have reached all of the checkpoints, you can see what times your opponents got, and wether you have won or not.
