A nice 3D MahJongg game - featuring
* 4 different layouts
* 8 different tilesets
* 7 different backgrounds
And any combination of each of these!
The goal of the game is to clean up a board of 144 tiles by finding and discarding matching pairs of tiles. The original game did not allow for all these features, but a batch file was created to make this happen. (The idea for this came from Steve B.) When the batch file is run (Prefs.bat), it allows you to select the layouts, tilesets and backgrounds that you wish to use. The batch file then starts the game with the settings that you have chosen. If you use the .bat file it is suggested that you donot alter these settings from within the game itself or you may get very confused. The .bat file also allows you to change the settings back to their defaults should you not wish toi use the batch file any more. In Windows 2000/XP the batch file works just fine. But when useded with Windows 95/98 there is a minor annoyance. It (Windows) will ask you a question about being a file or directory (?). When this happens press 'F' for file. It seems like these older operating systems don't like extensions with more than 3 characters.
From within the game you still have several options which you can use: including hint, undo move, shadows on/off as well as several other options.
The layouts include: CASTLE Layout, CHINESE_WALL layout, LAB layout and TURTLE layout.
Tilesets include: DEFAULT tileset, FANCYLETTERS tileset, FLOWERS tileset, HIERO tileset, MANGA tileset, RUNES tileset, SIMPSONS tileset and TRADITIONAL tileset.
And the 7 different backgrounds are: BLACK background, BLUE background, EGYPT background, HOMER background, MANGA background, PAPYRUS background and WARM background.
If you like MahJongg solitaire games you certainly won't be disapointed!
