The Hosen is a 3D puzzle/graphical adventure game with some mini arcade games tossed in. The object of the game is to go to every level and find a holy book and scan it into your computer. The readme file and the game itself provides a much more detailed explanation of the goal.
The game is quite lengthy and there is absolutely nothing saved, so if you quit the game; be prepared to start it all over from scratch when you play again. Just the first level takes 7 minutes to complete because of the lengthy dialog and this is the absolute minimum even when you know what to do. The other levels do not take as long to complete though. Also, the speed at which your man walks is also very slow. The game has no options and is only run in a full screen window. On the plus side, the game has good graphics and sound, a hint button and a well developed theme. There is even a fair amount of humor in the game. Every level includes a mini arcade/puzzle game to liven things up a bit. The game commands are at the bottom of the screen.
Controls:
Mouse and Left Mouse Button = Point and Click
Esc = Exit Game to OS
Arrow keys and space bar are used for the mini arcade game controls.
If you have lots of patience and time this is a very enjoyable game to play.
