In the single player mode, you begin by playing your I. C. Byrd against the Antarctic's novice member in the first phase of the tournament. If you lose, you must try it againuntil you get the hang of it. If you win, you unlock the next Arctic player and the next phase of the game. Progress through the levels until you reach the ultimate challenge- Boss versus Boss. Beat him, and the title "King of the Poles" will be yours gates.
While tackling the job of winning the grand tournament, head on over to the side rink to challenge a friend with a two-player game for some friendly competition and practicefor the real game. Also, keep your eye peeled on the single player mode for the several hidden cheats and strategies in the game.
