A very good 2D platform game with a difference
Authors Description :
Skud is a challenging 2D platforms game with unusual graphics and game play ,the look of the game is something like cartoon and the game play is...different. The goal of the game is to go to the bottom of each level avoiding hot platforms and collecting many bones as you can.
Normal Bones 5 pts
Silver Bones 20 pts
Gold Bones 20 pts
If you collect all the gold bones on a level you are rewarded with an extra life.When you touch a hot Platform you loose a life ,if you stay on the hot platform you won't loose any more life's ,but if you walk across the hot platform you will loose life very fast.
If you want to start from a completed level enter the first 8 letters of the name of the level you want to start from without commas ,dots and spaces into the password Window.
The Game has 20 levels
Controls : Arrows for movement
Shift : Jump
Ctrl : select
Space bar : Pause
S : Sound on/off
Press F12 for password screen.
This is a very good 2D platform game with a difference ,it's a tough game when you first start playing as you loose your life's very quickly but after a few goes the game becomes fast ,addictive and hectic as the aim of the game is get to the bottom ,you need to collect the gold bones as every fifth one you collect you get an extra life but after you have 5 life's that's it as you then need to keep collecting the gold bones to keep your lifes as full as possible what you will need to help you get through the levels ,but getting to the bottom is the real challenge as the levels seem big ,you can't seem to see where you are dropping down to sometimes but as you play more you learn what is below ,you can seem to stick to the edges of the bone platforms what helps a lot when you make an incorrect jump or just fall ,the password for each level is good as the levels are tough ,this game will keep bringing you back for more.
Tough game but a lot of Fun...
You can make the screen full size before you start but i preferred the small window,hat also kept the graphics nice and soft...
