Authors Description :
Terav is a two-dimensional scrolling tank shooter developed in Game Maker 6.1. It was inspired initially by Shiftup's Area Flat games, although the final product has strayed very far from the original concept.
Terav is a stage-based 2D scrolling tank shooter that includes an original powerup system, over 30 varieties of enemies, and several bosses. Play for a higher rank on the online hiscore table in order to unlock new tanks and other features.
Terav has got nice colorful vector graphics with excellent music to go with this nicely polished game. Your tank with it's nice big gun on top glides across the lunar landscape looking to the darkness above waiting for the enemies that do come thick and fast, this game is not all about just shooting and surviving it's got a kind strategy to stay alive. Pick up the colored power-ups that are dropped from the destroyed ships to boost your main gun do this by touching them with your tank, the controls for this game are smooth to use as the mouse cross hair is easy to pin point the enemy, use your secondary weapon when you start to get over powered. When the game starts your weapon can hold a maximum of two powerup colors. As you continue to later stages, the maximum capacity of your gun will increase. Next to the health meter you will see the current makeup of your weapon. A kind of tough game to play but you soon get the hang of this fun game.
Arrow keys : Move the tank left and right
Arrow key : Up will Boost the tank briefly off the ground
Left Mouse Button : (held) Fire normal weapons
Right Mouse Button : Fire special weapon
Esc : Pause
