Authors Description :
The Boomlands is my entry for gamedev.nets 4 elements compo. It is my first completed game. The game was inspired and plays very similar to Medieval Clash. The Controls are simple, use the mouse to set up a game and then just click on units to hire them. Units can be upgraded at 300 coins and again at 600 coins. There are also building you can build. The buttons for them are below your castle.
The game contains a manual with all the game details.
I enjoyed playing Medieval Clash but with better graphics and more fun gameplay Boomlands gets my vote for a better all round game. The characters are good and the gameplay is a strategy of the wits of two Castles and there men. You can pick your army and difficulty to your requirements of your skill level, then let battle commence with your band of merry men at your disposal. If you have not played Medieval Clash that won't matter as this game is like an upgrade to it. Swordsman, Archers, wood collectors and a few others to help you win the battle. The cannon conflicts a good amount of damage to your opponents castle as long as you have enough money. A fun game and a must for a download.
