Castel of Demon (Akumanoshiro) is a nice Japanese platform game whereby you as knight have to find your way to the demon and beat him. All kind of strange enemies, as bats, flames, blubs etc will try to stop your advance.
It's also bit a maze game, but don't worry beaten enemies will not come back when you go back to a previous room.
You also have to collect money in order to become stronger (health)
You don't have to understand Japanese to be able to play this game. I guess when your knight comes to a sign and you press the down key it will save your game.
Controls:
in menu: Arrow keys + Shift
in game:
Arrows = move
Z = jump
Shift = fight
X = pause + menu
Esc = exit game
note: There is also an user stage, but I didn't see any editor.
