The game is inspired by the classic games Space Invaders and Defender.
Your mission is to defend the humans against an army of invading aliens, wave after wave. Move your cannon left and right for aiming and shoot away at the
invaders before they reach you and the humans. Survive for as long as possible and set a new high-score!
There are different types of invaders: some just stay in formation, others will dive towards earth and try to capture humans. (When all humans are killed
you will have to fight it out in space before returning to earth with a new set of humans and big green bunkers.) Shooting down certain invaders may
result in a bonus object falling down, which you should catch to activate.
Here's a list of the possible bonusses and what they do:
laser - gives you a limited amount of laser shots
gun - gives you a limited amount of machine gun fire
health - partly restores your cannon energy level
life - earns you an extra cannon
repair - gives you two shots at repairing a bunker; aim carefully!
resist! - this makes the humans open fire at the invaders
You can pick up humans and bring them to a safer spot. The more humans you have on board, the more the cannon will be slowed down. You can also launch a
super-bomb. This is a very dangerous weapon as it may also hit you or the humans.
An extra super-bomb is awarded every 5th wave.
Controls:
Left arrow / Right arrow = move the cannon
Spacebar = fire the cannon
Up arrow / Down arrow = load/unload humans
End or Enter = launch super-bomb
Escape = end current game
M = toggle music on/off
