A remake of LCD handheld arcade game Pooyan
Pooyan The Hamheld is an imaginary recreation of what an LCD handheld game based on the arcade title Pooyan might have been. The game obeys the same limitations that a real handheld would, and attempts to convert as much of arcade as is feasible.
How To Play
Naughty wolves are trying to abduct Mama Pig's little piglets! Mama Pig responses with bow-and-arrow might, popping the wolves' ballons and foiling their scheme!
Move Mama Pig up and down to aim her at the wolves. Release an arrow to pop a wolf balloon and send the wolf plummeting to the ground. Wolves are immune to normal arrows, so you have to hit the balloon to succeed!
Wolves will throw rocks at Mama Pig, which must be avoided or shot. A hit from a rock costs Mama Pig a life, so be careful!
When the Heart Arrow appears at the top of elevator, move up to grab it. This special arrow is unstoppable, knocking out all wolves, balloons, and rocks in its path. It also gives a lot more points than a regular arrow, with each "extra" hit giving a bonus.
There are three types of stage in the game
Controls:
Shift = start game / fire
Arrows = Move
Esc = Exit game
