A good enjoyable RPG
Instinct is a hybrid of action, rpg, adventure and exploration which is probably the most important element in the game.
The game borrows fight system from Knights of Dillaria but dumps the RPG elements like Experience points or equipment(that doesn't mean that you won't be able to make your character stronger) which means that you must rely on your tactics more than on your equipement.
Your character has 3 upgradable stats:
1.Health points:You can expand you health capacity by finding a HP Capsule which add 50 points to your HP
2.Ammunition:All weapons in the game use one kind of ammunition but each weapon consumes different number of units.By finding Ammo capsule you expand you ammo capacity by 50 units.
3.Weapons:In KOD you could have only 1 weapon equiped. Here you have all weapons you found equiped.But here's the catch. All weapons (except Shock Rifle) use ammunition so you must think up a tactics so you won't consume ammo quickly
The game features one big open ended world for you to explore. You can save the game on the save points.
Exploration is a key element here because some weapons grant you acces to new parts of the game world.Also you can't buy the weapons somewhere,they are scattered around the world so you must find them. Also the game has a quite scary atmosphere thanks to the soundtrack and the fact that you are alone 2 miles underground.
