A nice RPG whereby you have to fight a lot
Walk around on a big world (ice, lava, desert, labyrinth, etc) and try to get an A-rank on each item of your To-Do list (press Tab to see the To-Do list). While walking you will meet a lot of enemies you have to beat. After every fight you will get a flavor drop (better defence, shield, poison, life, etc...). You can equip your fighters with that flavor drops so that they will become better fighters.
The To-Do list contains 4 quests:
1. Battle Quest: These quests are completed during battles. They are usually to defeat a certain enemy, find a certain drop, or become a certain flan.
2. Investigation Quest: This is the story line of Flan Rising. Find someone and talk to him.
3. Exploration Quest: These quests are completed by simply exploring the areas that you are directed to.
4. Boss Quest: The boss quest chain is the only quest chain required to complete the game. (press Shift to see where the boss is located)
It's a nice game, but the evolving to better fighters goes very slow (in my opion: too slow). You need to play at least a whole day before you are strong enough to beat the final boss.
After the end, you can play the whole quest over, without losing your power and flavor drops.
Controls:
Arrows = Move
Tab = To-Do list
Shift = Locate the boss
Mouse = For the battles
The game saves your game automatically
