A nice 3D Star Wars Spaceship sim - complete all 4 tasks
This is an improved remake of 3D Starstrike for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum in 1987.
Stage 1:
The objective in the first stage is to survive! Multiple enemy ships attack you as you head toward the Battlestar. Shooting them alone is not enough to see you through to the next level, you will also have to shoot the plasma bolts that they fire at you. But don't be too trigger happy otherwise your lasers will overheat leaving you defenseless!
Stage 2:
Skimming above the Battlestar surface you must pick off the plasma guns which will also be gunning for you. In later levels the guns are also mounted on top of gunning towers, adding yet another obstacle to avoid.
Stage 3:
Now you're on the final straight! Just head down the trench, dodging the beams, and shooting the guns off the wall. At the end of the tunnel are two plasma hydraulic pipes which keep the blast doors shut. A couple of well aimed shots should rupture the pipes and the blast doors will open, enabling you to fly to central reactor core.
Stage 4:
You've finally made it to the reactor core. Blast the six spinning reactor pods and make your escape. With the reactor pods destroyed the reactor will overheat and start a chain reaction of explosions throughout the Battle Star. Don't hang around though to watch the fireworks.
