A poor retro shooter
The Return of Balzar is a retro style action adventure, where the Player is sent on a quest, to save the good folk of Sheep Islands, from an evil rejected Wizard, that - as the rumours say - have turned himself into a vile Lich, bound for revenge for his rejection, from the School of Magic in Thor's Harbour, of the Sheep Islands. Can you be that Hero?
Story
Once upon a time there was a young wannabe Wizard. He had a problem, he couldn't show the diciplin a student of magic must have, therefore he was thrown out of the School of Magic, and was told not to mingle more with magic, he did not show proper respect. He did not listen.
After a while of humility, he swore that he would have revenge. He became more and more evil. He started to show a dangerous interest in the dark arts of Necromancy, and became a devoted scholar of Dark Magic. One particular spell is very dark, and that is the spell of raising as an undead lich. It is a very difficult spell to peform, and there is no one who has succeded... yet...
It is now over 200 years ago, and the story about this renegade apprentice is just a legend and a scary story we tell our children, if they behave bad. No one believed it... until now...
A darkness is spreading around the land, and there are tales about an evil wizard, or something worse, who is raising an army of undead. He must be stopped. Here is where our Hero comes into the story, he is also a wannabe wizard, he is devoted and diciplined, and loved by the people and the teachers. He is chosen to go and see, if there is any reallity to this rumours... How real they were.

Good game, like the Harry Potter type story! I enjoyed the retro graphics the most! A minus point on the graphics & sounds..
