This is something that happens to me a lot: I start a project, get it to a certain point, have a new idea for a project and abandon the one I'm already working on. I admit it, I'm a game-making magpie, always attracted to the sparkle of something new and different.
Astro Grab started off as a mini-game project, and from beginning to end has become the game I've worked longest on. That's only because I kept being distracted by other games, mind.
In Astro Grab, you take control of a remote controlled spacecraft in an effort to recover some highly valuable Phebs which have been lost in space. Unfortunately, the phebs put out enough radiation to open rifts in the space-time continuum, and if your craft flies into one it'll be destroyed. Also, the graviterron plasma waves in this region of space cause your craft to constantly accelerate.
So, it boils down to a space-age version of Snake, which some changes made to the gameplay. And it's a fun little minigame. Download it and give it a shot. What have you got to lose?
