A nice and unique vertical scrolling Space Shooter game + level editor.
Cubes, cubes and cubes. All kind of colours and sizes. It's your task to survive the 3 levels.
Some cubes you can destroy, but to shoot them you have to select the right cannon. You have 3 cannons (red, blue and green) and you can only shoot the cubes with the same color as you cannon fires.
You cannot destroy the multi colored blocks. The ice cubes are the easiest ones to destroy because you can shoot em with any cannon. But look out for the dark green/purple cubes (see picture below), if you shoot this one, you will lose a life.
Controls:
Enter = start game & pause
Arrow keys = move
D = select cannon (color)
F = fire
Esc = exit game
You can play with both keyboard or joypad
There are no audio files (.wav) included in the .zip file,but you can play whatever music you like by simply putting them in the music folder (named Track1,Track2,..).
In the zip archive you will find the level editor and a configuration tool (for difficulty level, resolution, etc), other than the game itself.
note: To start the editor, I suppose you need a good CPU, because it was very slow on my 1.6 GHz computer
This game was written in c++ using OpenGL and SDL.
It is a wonderful game and if you like Space Shooters, you surely have to try this one out :)
