An arena space shooter + ship shop for 1 to 4 players
Exotic Armada 2 offers some fast-paced spacecraft melee action for 1-4 players. The game is very similar to games such as Star Control (the melee mode, specifically). It isn't even meant to be innovative, rather offering some pure old-school shooting fun. Here are some of the game's features:
-Fully customisable players and teams for a maximum of 4 players, including AI players.
-Over 40 (!) original and unique ships to choose from (although you have to gain access to most of them by playing the challenge mode first)
-Built-in support for replays. Save replays of your best matches for later viewing.
-Detailed statistics of each game (even individual data for each ship).
-Gain access to new ships by winning in the challenge mode (initially you have access to only 10 ships)
Controls (redefinable):
* Player 1:
Arrows = Move
R Ctrl = Primary weapon
R Shift = Secondary weapon
- = Snip
* Player 2:
W, A, D = Move
Q = Primary weapon
Tab = Secondary weapon
1 = Snip
* Player 3:
Y, G, J = Move
R = Primary weapon
F = Secondary weapon
T = Snip
* Player 4:
P, L, ] = Move
I = Primary weapon
K Shift = Secondary weapon
O = Snip
* Menu: Mouse / Arrows + space
Cheat:
Click in main menu on a tiny red button somewhere on the metal background ;)
